Poly Plantronics MDA524 QD, USB-A, WW (212164-01) is a smart audio processor for Plantronics 4-pin Quick Disconnect (QD) Headsets. This seamlessly integrate mixed call environments for an improved customer experience, feature easy-to-use call controls and improves Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) training. Customer Service Representatives can switch easily between desk phone and softphone calls to serve more customers, whether from PC or Mac. You keep on using the same headset even with the two sources. The MDA524 QD connects to a computer by using USB-A Cable. Comprehensive desk phone compatibility with electronic hook switch (EHS) integration is available separately. The Plantronics Quick Disconnect (QD) interface allows CSRs to move from one system and quickly connect to another for a seamless workflow.

Advanced noise and echo cancellation ensure a clear and natural sound. The MDA524 QD features SoundGuard® Digital hearing protection which protects against sound levels above 118dBA. G616 Anti-startle during calls detects and eliminates any large sudden increase in signal level. Time-Weighted Average prevents average daily noise exposure from exceeding 85 dBA which is enabled by Plantronics Hub. The customer experience is further enhanced with advanced audio channel mixing that includes agent greeting, call recording, voice notes, and streaming audio, all configurable in Plantronics Hub software. The user then switches between audio sources using the intuitive buttons like volume, mute, and call control. This device is supported by Plantronics Manager Pro, a Software-as-a-Service that is sold separately. Plantronics Manager Pro lets IT to monitor, track, and easily manage audio device deployment from the cloud and understand system performance with multiple metrics. Track analytics and gain insights from both desk phones and softphones with Plantronics Manager Pro. Benefit from Plantronics software technology that detects and reports on call events, revealing insights to help make operations run more efficiently.
