Plantronics to Take Part in the CONNECTIONS 2014 Discussion on Wearable Technology Industry and Home Connections

Plantronics announced the participation of the company’s Products Senior Vice President, Renee Niemi, in the panel discussion at CONNECTIONS 2014.

A pioneer for decades now in the industry of wearable technology, Plantronics is continuously innovating and offering its customers and partners with personal audio solutions, which are currently used by a lot of people. The company was able to modify a normal headset and convert it into something that can offer a lot of possibilities, through innovations of on-board sensor technology and open APIs with only the developer’s imagination limiting it, to the user wearing it.

The CONNECTIONS 2014 panel will be held on the 13^th day of May from 4 to 5 in the afternoon at the San Francisco Airport Marriot at 1800 Old Bayshore Hwy, Burlingame, CA 94010. Considered as one of the leading connected home conferences in the industry, the panel this year will be entitled “Wearable Computing: Driving New Connected Home Experiences”. It is expected to address recent innovations involving wearable computing, as well as different business opportunities for component suppliers, service and technology providers, and software designers.

Will be hosted by the Parks Associates, the CONNECTIONS 2014 panel will discuss the different innovative solutions for customers who are connected. The leading strategies in order to monetize different factors like connected consumer electronics, digital content and services, home services, and value-added services, will also be discussed.
