Some of these areas include:

Obtaining the DECT Forum Security certification will require certain qualifications. First, the product should be able to fulfil all the necessary recommendations. All these will be submitted to an approved test lab for independent verification.
Chairman of DECT Forum, Andreas Zipp said “The launch of the Certification Program allows DECT vendors to have their equipment security certified against the latest standards, allowing them to assure their customers that their communications are secure. We’re encouraged to see our fill members like Plantronics embracing the new standards and working with us to certify their products.”
Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Plantronics said “We’re committed to providing our customers with the most robust solutions on the market today, both from a feature and a security perspective. Through our close partnership with the DECT Forum, we have once again proven why the CS500 and Savi Series are among the most popular headsets for businesses.”
The CS500 DECT security certified headset is now out in the market. The other DECT Forum-certified, Savi 700 Series headsets, on the other hand will begin its shipping at the year’s end. When it comes to updates though, Savi 400 series ones will be available early of the year 2015. For the entire Savi Family Products, the security and in-market updates will be made available when the firmware updates are also available.
